Double Click Presents: Security Tips for Macs and Mobile Devices

At their January meeting, the officers and members of the Midlands Macintosh User Group (MMUG) will be looking at the ins and outs of making an iBook with iBook Author. Silicon Valley: Dan Woods Presents

On December 17, the officers and members of the Silicon Valley Macintosh User Group (SVMUG) will host Dan Woods, president of Karelia Software. Dan’s presentation will focus on Sandvox, Macintosh software that lets users quickly and easily create web sites, even if the users know nothing about HTML. Lorene Romero, President of the North Coast Mac Users Group (NCMUG), was recently featured in Agent at Home magazine, in an article titled Cover Focus: Masters of Technology. In the article, Lorene mentions her MacBook, iPhone and iPad, and discusses the ways that she uses technology to stay in touch with her clients, even when she is in another state or another country. While the web-based version of the article does not offer the fun graphics, the hard copy version has a great photo of Lorene with a few of her favorite Apple products.
