Our eighth Apple World User Group University online gathering of Apple user group leaders was held at 8:00pm CST, on October 19, 2020, via Zoom. We had 17 participants who joined for the topic of “iOS 14 & iPadOS 14 Changes” . The 93-minute video can be viewed at: (unlisted on YouTube).

This session opened with a welcome, plus my description of comparison of changes between iOS 14 and iPadOS 14. I also introduced Doug Smith, Chair of the Apple User Group Advisory Board, who monitored the Chat Room and Zoom support.

An extensive discussion was held about suggestions for future meeting topics such as moving to every-other-month meetings, membership records and renewals, sharing presenters & presentations, joint user group meetings, and pro apps for Zoom. The new AWUGU iCloud resource area to share past meeting information is available ( hosted by the Apple User Group Advisory Board.

We are very pleased that this eighth meeting was very informative. Our next tentative meeting is scheduled for 8:00pm CDT, November 16, 2020, about “Membership Records and Renewals”, and no meeting in December.  All AWUGU previous registrants will receive an invitation to all meetings.
