The Apple User Group Advisory Board and User Group Support Team have implemented a new support system to assist Apple User Group leaders worldwide. Every leader request for support is assigned a unique ticket number which can be used to track the progress of the request online. The online support system will allow us to better serve group leaders and get them the answers they need for their user group. Our User Group Support Team is ready to help you out.

On Saturday, November 10, officers and members of the Hawaii Macintosh & Apple Users’ Society, Inc. (HMAUS) will host the HMAUS Apple Harvest, and this year’s Harvest will be amazing. Imagine presentations by Macworld Senior Editor Chris Breen, Star Trek Nation’s Rod Roddenberry and Que author Gary Rosenzwieg: they will all be doing remote presentations for HMAUS during the event.
On site, local Apple pros Beth Grech, Doc Rock, Jerome Koehler and Ross Rasmussen will add to the fun as members gather at the local Dave and Busters showroom for the Apple Harvest breakfast buffet.

On November 14, members and officers of the Capitol Macintosh User Group (CapMac) will host an OS X server workshop at the public access channelAustin studios in Austin, Texas. The studio depends on OS X for its day-to-day operations and will be offering a tour of a facilities as part of the meeting and workshop. Topics covered will include OS X Server capabilities and requirements, planning server needs, network settings, software installation and configuration.
In addition, CapMac and channelAustin will co-host a Shop Safely Online Workshop on November 8.
